  Epro Telecom Provides Employment Opportunities for Job-seekers in Job Fair to Cope with our Business Growth

 

Epro Telecom, one of the largest contact centers in the market providing contact center services, system and solutions, and training and consultation services support, has received more than 200 applications for the post of telemarketers in a recent job fair which took place at Exhibition Gallery, Kwai Tsing Theatre, Kwai Fong, New Territories, Hong Kong on August 4, 2005.

 

Given that the positive and growing Hong Kong economy started from last year, Epro Telecom is expanding rapidly to cope with increasing clients’ outsourcing services needs. Currently, Epro Telecom is employing over 450 working positions and 650 agents of providing 24x7 multi-media inbound and outbound contact center services. Clients are willing to consume outsourcing services because they are proved to have better performance in the areas of professional human resources management, infrastructure & system stability, cost-saving, operational efficiency, and productivity; resources then can be focused on core business. In turn, it would empower our clients’ business to become more competitive in the market. Hence, due to the our business growth, Epro Telecom created more than 60 telemarketing posts in the telecommunications and business services market so as to participate in the job fair of providing employment opportunities to job-seekers in Hong Kong.

 

“It is expected that there is an increasing trend of using telemarketing as the main business practice in the service industry. In order to cope with our business growth, we would like to absorb more talents in telemarketing role. By the end of this year, we expect to employ up to 250 people. And next year, we target to recruit 200 and more.” said Mr. Tony Yeung, Deputy General Manager-Operation of Contact Center Business in Epro Telecom.

 

Ms. Carol Chang, Chief Operating Officer of Contact Center Business in Epro Telecom stated, “Monthly salary of telemarketing posts increases 20 per cent when comparing with 2004; vacancies in Epro Telecom also increase 15 to 20 per cent in 2005. Additionally, the positive response to this recruitment activity shows that job-seekers see good prospects in the service industry.”
