Epro Telecom organized a “Capital Budgeting and Other Finance Topic” Training in May 2013, this is the last Corporate Management Training for the first half of the year. To most of the management staff, capital budgeting is an important work process, and the training can help to strengthen the relevant knowledge of the staff. Owing to the wide coverage of the topic, the training has been separated into two sessions.    

Epro has the honor inviting Dr. Ricky Chung to be our lecturer. Dr. Chung has extensive academic and working experience in the financial area, and he is currently teaching different financial courses at HKU SPACE. 

The tutorial was made up by a rich combination of theories and practical examples, analyzing different capital budgeting strategies, their effectiveness as well as impact on decision making. There were also case studies and exercises during the lessons to reinforce the understanding of the staff.

Most of the managers found the lectures very useful, one of them said, “The lectures have greatly enhanced my concept and knowledge on capital budgeting, and will certainly improve my budget preparation in the future.”
